Campin Merode Altarpiece

The Merode Altarpiece is a triptych (hinged three part panel) by the early Netherlandish painter Robert Campin. It was created between 1425 and 1428 and has become Campin's greatest work. This was helped by the undoubted charm of the domestic setting and townscape outside the windows.
