Botticelli Primavera

Primavera, which is also known as Allegory of Spring, is a painting from the Italian Renaissance artist Sandro Botticelli. It was complete in 1482 and is described as one of the most popular, yet controversial, paintings in Western art. Most critics agree that the painting is allegorical for the lush growth of Spring, but other meanings have been argued and defended.
