Borobudur is a 9th century Buddhist monument in Indonesia. The monument is made of six square platforms topped by three circular platforms. It is decorated with almost 3000 relief panels and over 500 Buddhist statues. There is a main dome, located at the center of the top platform, and is surrounded by 72 Buddhist statues seated inside stupa. The monument is a place for Buddhist pilgrimage.
