Mary Miss is one of the numerous landscape artists of the 1970s. This work of art, Field Rotation, is so large that it can only be appreciated from the air. It is 3.7 acres and was completed in 1981. Miss uses lines of posts to pattern the field as a kind of giant pinwheel.
