
The Aphrodite of Milos (better known as the Venus de Milo) is an ancient Greek statue. It is one of the most famous works of ancient Greek sculpture. It was created at some point between 130 and 100 BCE. Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty, is believed to be depicted. The sculpture itself is marble and is slightly larger than life size. Its arms have been lose. It is displayed at the Louvre in Paris.
