Trajan's Column is a triumphal column in Rome, Italy. It commemorates the Roman emperor Trajan's victories in the Dacian Wars and was constructed at the order of the Roman Senate. It was complete in 113 BE and is most famous for its spiral bas relief. It artistically describes the epic wars between the Romand and the Dacians. It design has inspired both ancient and modern victory columns. It is almost 100 feet tall.
